The overall aim of the day will be to open the way to make positive therapeutic connections and developing good practice in counselling with this diverse population. The Body Keeps The Score. (Parts One and Two) Norma Howes and Deborah Robinson

Talking therapy addresses the impact of trauma on the mind but may miss healing the trauma held in the body. This workshop will explore ways to integrate talking and body therapy in a mindful way using sensorimotor techniques. Norma Howes and Deborah Robinson are returning to repeat their highly successful day training from June 7th 2008. (Level one) For those 38 people that attended on June 7th Norma and Deborah will explore this subject in deeper detail. (Level Two) We have booked two rooms and Norma and Deborah will effectively work between the two groups, providing a full day for each.
