Who can join and how?

Application for individual membership of HACP is open to any person over the age of 18 years who is a counsellor or psychotherapist or uses counselling skills or is undergoing counselling training (or to whom these qualifications have previously applied).

Once you have joined...

Once you have become a member you may wish to advertise your services in our online directory. If so please download the form from the 'Joining the Directory' panel opposite, fill it in and post back, with your cheque for £16 made payable to HACP and the necessary signatures on your form to: HACP Administrator, 23 Colbourne Close, Bransgore, CHRISTCHURCH. BH23 8BW.

Combined total Membership and Directory £32 per year.

Join the directory

The online directory has been set up for members benefit to help the general public find a counsellor or psychotherapist in their local area.

Only members of Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy can apply to be in the directory.

To be successful you will need to have a counselling or psychotherapy qualification acceptable to HACP. You will abide by the code of ethics set out by your regulatory body (eg BACP or UKCP). Your supervisor will need to sign the application form.

For new applicants qualifications will need to be checked by a HACP committee member. Existing subscribers only need to send photocopies of new qualifications when obtained.
